Zusammenfassung
Der Verfasser versucht, Hahnemanns Entwicklung vom Pharmakologen zum Homöopathen,
von der Anwendung roher Arzneien in Krankheiten bis zur Verordnung von Q-Potenzen
für einen einzelnen Patienten zu folgen. Er benutzt hierzu die Ausführungen, die Hahnemann
über nützliche Erstwirkungen und nutzlose Nachwirkungen im Anfang seiner Entwicklung
machte und die Umkehrung dieser Auffassung bis hin zur Andeutung der Erfahrung, daß
gerade die spät in einer Prüfung oder in einer Krankheit auftretenden Zeichen und
Symptome besonders wertvoll für die Arzneimittelwahl sind.
Summary
The author tries to follow Hahnemann's mental development from pharmacology to homoeopathy,
from crude doses of drugs against collective diseases defined by a mere name, to high
potencies homoeopathically used for a Single patient, indicated by the Singular, uncommon
and peculiar Symptoms of this Single patient. He uses the notion of useful primary
and useless secondary action of the remedies to illustrate this development. This
notion had been formulated in the mind of the pharmacologist, it was soon discarded
by Hahnemann but the homoeopathic facet of this problem, i.e. the importance of the
latest Symptoms in proving and disease does not seem to have been clearly put in words
before Hering and Bönninghausen.
